Random Doodles

Dunno' if I had said anything about it, but I now have a new scanner 8D! Probably have knowing me but, yanno' how these things go.

Character design of what a baby Ri'Ikal ( Rye-EH-caul) would look like. Being reptiles I'd imagine them pretty self sufficient right out of the egg. Mostly they look like little teeny adults. So there would be herds of teeny squeakers just like this one running around after the large summer hatching, XD. A friend of mine said they're so ugly they're cute.I think they're cute!



An attempt at a more "realistic" Pandora head. As far as dragons go she's really on the level of....well....majestic she is not. I'd say she's the corgi of the dragon world. Short, compact, and full of durp.

It'll at least give me some direction as far as arts goes, since I've been so utterly unproductive lately, BLEH! I'll probably officially start doodling up stuff Monday, since I gotta be at work and then the parents tomorrow for family dinner which kills my whole day pretty much. Anyhow, Yeah, here's to hoping I manage it! *cheers*

Floating Heads AHOY!

When I start out designing new characters I always start with a bust shot, dunno' why, it's just a quick, dirty way to do it. So here we have Pender, cute eh? ( Btw, he's a Vorambi which are not mine, they're the creation of a good friend of mine!)

And here we have Vell, he's a sweet guy, a little bit of a jerk , but we can't all be perfect eh? He's the son of a gang leader and..well, an insane woman. So needless to say his childhood wasn't exactly stellar.
Goofy little vent doodle I did, seems that everything I eat lately makes me bloat up like a balloon. Yaaay so fun (/enthusiasm)

A little WIP

So ah yeah, I fail at updating anything, still getting my art room in order so I can actually create stuff without having to flail and almost fall over or any combo of said..."activities" Practicing a smoother style of shading on Pan here. Typical anatomy goofs and inability to draw hands, 'cause...y'know this is me we're talking about. ENJOY!

I do these to warm up, they're mostly of nothing, just loose brush work that reminds me of working with oils again. Some day I'd like to get back into big scale paintings, as of right now it's just impractical :B

Again just playing in Sai trying to get the hang of things *blinks* I really rather hate digital inking and feel it pales in comparison to my old traditional stuff. I just can't seem to get the hang of digi stuff.
